Garnier B.B. Cream

I am apart of BzzAgent.com and I got selected to try the Garnier B.B. Cream is a Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector. I received this product to try and give my own personal opinion and feedback on it.

This cream is amazing!! I am completely in love with all of it. Garnier has totally hit the nail on the head with this one. You can get Garnier B.B. Cream in several different shades. I got the light/medium shade and it blends in perfectly. There is no telling that I have it on at all.

There are so many benefits that this one cream has. A few of the best parts is the Broad Spectrum SPF 20. It is easy to reapply and blends with the makeup that you already have on. This cream does not look anything like any other sunscreen out there. Most sunscreens for your face still have a white chalky/ghostly look to your face after apply. I know I hate reapplying sunscreen over makeup but this one it looks great and does not mess up the makeup that you have on at all.

I also got the combination to oily skin. It worked great keeping the oil under control. My T spot gets pretty oily especially during the spring and summer months with the heat. I am so grateful that I got to try out this cream and now I get to make it part of my daily routine to help my skin on a daily basis.

If you are looking for a cream that not only has a SPF in it and can help renew your skin and helps with those oily spots make sure to try out the Garnier B.B. Cream. It is amazing and I love it!!

Sesame Street Live

While we were in Tulsa last week on the Austin weekend we went to the Sesame Street Live at the BOK Center. I didn’t really know what Austin would think of it plus had no clue how Alijah would do during it. They both Loved it!! Austin was singing and dancing the whole time. Alijah for the first half just sat there starring at everything going on. At about intermission he started to get a little fussy. I fed him that satisfied him for most of the second half and then Louie had to take him up to the top of the stairs and then he was fine.

It was so much fun watching Austin singing and dancing to all the music. The letter of the day was M and the word was Music so it was all singing and dancing and it was a lot of fun. I tried getting a video of Austin dancing but it was to dark in our seats to really capture it. We did get a few pictures but the memory of it will never be forgotten.

This was Austin climbing the stairs to take a picture. The problem with this was there was only two real steps and then the rest was very short. Austin tried climbing all and well ended up falling off and got a fat lip. We were done taking pictures out in the hallway after that.

Wyndham Hotel in Tulsa

This post is a little late but well worth it with the pictures. Last month we took the boys to Tulsa to the Zoo and Sesame Street Live. We stayed over night and I found an amazing hotel to stay at. The indoor kids water park totally sold it. I was really wanting to find something that was under $100 and had breakfast but after I saw all the slides and fun stuff I knew we had to stay there. It doesn’t have breakfast but with the boys that is to big of a deal. It always just a little over $100 so still a great deal.

The hotel was very clean and pretty nice inside. The pool area did not have the chlorine smell to it at all. The pool area had really good hours. It stayed open until 10pm and opened up at 6 am. We were able to take the boys swimming in the evening that was kind of crowded and then again in the morning where we were the only ones for most of the time we were in there. Having to ourselves really allowed Austin to play and have fun on the slides. We didn’t have to worry about anyone not waiting and coming down on him or him not being able to get up the slides by himself. Alijah even got to be down and in the water. He didn’t care for the slide at all. Louie and I both tried at different times and for Alijah is was not a fun time.

Austin loved the slide. We have him in swimming lessons so he is really loving the water and being under water and still really has no fear of the water at all. The frog slide he was able to do that all by himself. He even got creative on it and would go down backwards and on his belly. There was a bigger slide that was covered and it bent a little. He also loved that one. That one we waited for him at the bottom since it was a little deeper by that slide. Austin would come down saying wee and then get up with all smiles saying again. I think I have made him into a fish. Austin also found the cannons that they had. He liked getting up on a chair so he could spray water out of them. It was kind of hard so Louie had to help him with that but he didn’t care.

As you can see both of the boys had a great time with the water. I am sure any time we stay in Tulsa again it will be here. The only down side was the beds. They had the sleep number beds. The only problem is they did not have the remotes to use for them. They were pretty quick when we called about it to come get them fixed. Everyone was super nice and we never waited long for extra towels, crib, or maintenance for the bed. (hint: if you unzip the mattress on the top middle of the bed there is a white cap if you take that off you can let the air out and change the setting without the remote). Louie and I both decided though that we would never get a sleep number bed ever!!

Grace Adele Scarf

I am super excited to tell you guys about the Grace Adele Scarf along with a great giveaway for you. Grace Adele is the clothes, fashion, and accessory part of the Scentsy Company. Grace Adele has great fashion piece to fit with anyones wardrobe.

I got an amazing Ombé Orange Scarf to review. My favorite color is orange so I really wanted to get this scarf. It is a great color but it also is not over powering at all. It goes from a lighter orange in the middle of the scarf and works its way to a darker orange as it gets to the ends. It is a really good balance of color. I paired it with a simple black shirt to give it a pop of the color. The orange will also go with many other colors to make it more spring. This season is about bright colors and big bold colors mixed together. I think the orange scarf would look great with a pink shirt as well.

The scarf is a light weight material so it is not to warm or hot as the weather starts to warm up. I wore the scarf of a warmer day last week and it was not to much at all. I was very comfortable with it and got a lot of compliments about how cute it was.

Here is a few pictures of me wearing the scarf. I tried several ways that you can wear it depending on the look you are wanting with it. I know there are probably a ton of ways to wear but I just did three.

I have been working with Elizabeth Crabtree for this product and she is amazing. She has been very quick with replies to questions that I have a long with keeping me up to date on the products. Family Vacation

We have decided on our family vacation and super excited to say we will be heading down to San Antonio TX. I am super excited about our trip. We will get to visit a few awesome places. We will only have a good 5 days to visit so we will be making the best out of those days to visit all that we can.

A few places will be Sea World, Zoo, and the Alamo. I think we will also take a day and visit Corpus Christy. I love the beach and am all for it any time we can go visit one. Last time we went to the beach it was in San Diego and Austin was 17 months old. He also wanted nothing to do with the sand and water. So it didn’t go so well. He played in the sand as long as you didn’t have to stand in the sand at all. I am hoping this trip he will really want to play and have fun in the sand and water. If he doesn’t it might be the last time I get to the beach for many years.

When we visited San Diego and we did Sea World and Zoo Austin loved it and I was 8 month pregnant with Alijah. This year it is exciting that both boys will get to visit both parks and enjoy it. I know Austin will love it and I think Alijah will really like it also. Alijah is pretty good at seeing the animals and so happy being outside so I am excited!!

If anyone has a must see place to go visit around the San Antonio and Corpus Christy Area please let us know.

Tulsa Zoo

Louie and I decided to have an Austin weekend. This weekend consisted of lots of Austin loves. We first visited the Tulsa Zoo. We decided to go on Saturday since on Sunday there was a chance of rain. While we were driving to Tulsa we checked the weather again and noticed that there was possible 40 mile an hour wind gusts. We decided to still do that Saturday since we couldn’t really go in the rain and most of the zoo is in buildings. What a perfect day we had to go. Neither Louie and I could believe what a great day it was. It was around 75-78 degrees and was not really wind at all. Enough wind to keep us cool but that was it.

So our Austin weekend began. The zoo was really busy but once we got inside the zoo it wasn’t too bad at all. We got there right around lunch so we needed to grab something to eat. They were also having a Sea Lion show so I took the boys to see it while Louie waited in line for lunch. The boys liked the show for a little while but then they got distracted. They didn’t have the Sea Lions doing any tricks so it was super entertaining.

After we ate lunch we headed to the monkeys. Austin loved looking at all the animals. Alijah rode in the stroller almost the whole time and loved it. At the monkeys he just sat there and watched to two monkeys that were playing back and forth in the cage. This was Alijah’s first time in the big double stroller without his car seat so we really didn’t know how it was going to do. He Loved It!! He was the happiest boy all day long that I have ever seen.

SONY DSCWe then headed to the Rhino’s. As we walked down the hill Louie took Austin over to the other side to where one of the Rhino’s was standing. Right as Louie was getting there the Rhino decided he wanted to roll in the mud. Austin loved it. He said that the Rhino got him dirty. It was so cute watching him watch the Rhino play in the mud.

SONY DSC SONY DSCAfter the Rhino’s we got to see the big Turtles. Austin has loved turtles for a long time so he enjoyed seeing them. They were huge, I couldn’t believe how big they were.

SONY DSCAs we walked around we came to the Lion and Tiger. Their enclosures are right next to each other. As we walked closer to the Lion’s enclosure we noticed the a couple of zoo keepers were in the pen. It looked like someone either lost a hat or keys or both. After they got out they opened up the cage door to let the lion out. He was not having it. He didn’t want to come out at all. He hide in the door way for a bit and then poked his head out. Almost to see who was waiting for him and say no way, go away, I don’t want any company.

SONY DSC SONY DSCWe checked out the penguins while we waited to see if the Lion was going to come out or not. Of course all of the penguins where sleeping and not swimming. We thought one was going to jump in the water to just lay down on a rock. As we started to come back to the Lion he started roaring. He was awesome hearing him roar like he was. He was still in the door way but letting everyone know he wasn’t having company today. Austin got to hear the roar of the Lion. We then visited the Tiger. He just sat there and hung out and was unfazed but anything.

SONY DSCOn to the Giraffes we headed. Last time we came to the zoo they didn’t have the upper deck open to where you can really up close and personal with the Giraffes. This time they did so we headed up to get a little closer and see them. One was eating, one sleeping, and one just hanging out so none of them came closer but you can really enjoy how big they are when you are closer to their height.

SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSCAustin really had a great day looking at all the animals. He kept asking to see more. He walked a lot of the zoo too so he worn himself out pretty good. Austin was also able to tell us what a lot of the animals where or he would ask what that is. I think he had a great time. Alijah also had a great time. I have tons of pictures show how happy he was all day long.

SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSCIf you get a chance to go to a smaller zoo the Tulsa Zoo is a great place to go to. It only costs $8 for adults and under 3 is free. It is really reasonable.

Neutrogena Cosmetics

I have a new love in my life. It is the Neutrogena Cosmetics. It is amazing and looks even more amazing.

I grew up using the Neutrogena Body Wash and I loved the feel and smell of it. I was super excited when I got to try the Neurtrogena Cosmetics through BzzAgent. I received two Crease Proof Eye Shadows, MoistureSmooth Color Sticks, and Healthy Lengths Mascara.

I was super excited to try the Crease Proof Eye Shadows. I have a really hard time finding eye shadow that doesn’t crease. If it doesn’t crease it doesn’t last for very long at all. I don’t think i have been able to make it more then a few hours before my eye shadow is creasing and making a big mess around my eyes. I was very surprised when my eye shadow lasted a long time. I went hours and it was still the same place that I put it and was not creasing at all. The eye shadow was also very light weight and easy to apply. There was no extra applicator to deal with and went on easy. It isn’t a powder so that worried me that it wouldn’t look right or go on where I wanted but to be honest I believe it looked better on and went right where I wanted it to be.

A few facts about the Neutrogena Crease Proof Eye Shadow. It lasts for 12 hour wear that instantly revives and brightens eyes. Neutrogena has built in primer into the eye shadow to prevents smudging, creasing, and fading for 12 hours of flawless wear. It also has antioxidant rich formula nourishes the delicate eye area. It is also Ophthalmologist tested and safe for sensitive eyes.

I then tried the Healthy Lengths Mascara. I have always had a hard time finding mascara that doesn’t clump or make a mess while I am putting it on. The Neutrogena Mascara does all that. It does not clump or make any messes while you are putting it on. One coat of the Mascara was all it needed. It is also long lasting with out flaking off. I also found a new mascara to use daily.

A few facts about the Neutrogena Healthy Lengths Mascara. This mascara has formula with Vitamin E and olive oil conditions and strengthens lashes so they grow to their fullest potential and stay strong. Gentle bristle brush combs through every lash to apply antioxidant rich color.

I also got try the Moisture Smooth color Stick. The color stick is a sheer shiny color that leaves lips feeling continuously conditioning. I am not huge on lips stick of any kind especially with two very cute little boys that I want to kiss non stop!

A few facts about the Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Sticks. Mango and Shea butter help continuously condition lips so they feel softer and smoother in just three days. Twist up packaging allows for perfect application and no sharpener needed.

Happy Easter!!

What a great and crazy busy weekend. Happy Easter to all my family, friends, and readers. I hope that everyone had a great day.

He is Risen!! Praise the Lord!! I first before posting some super cute pictures want to thank God for sending his only son to come down and die on the cross for our sins so that we can have eternal life with him. That is the true meaning of Easter and I can’t wait to be able to teach my boys the meaning of Easter and not just the fun eggs and candy.

So we started our Easter weekend on Friday. We went over to Grandma and Pa Pa Weimer’s house for dinner and to color some eggs. This is Austin’s 3rd Easter so he is a pro at coloring eggs already. He got right in there colored fingers and all. He was so proud of the colors he made the eggs. Alijah did pretty well to except for when he thought it would be better to try and eat the coloring cups. He talked most of the time and have fun though.

On Saturday we started off our morning with an Easter Egg Hunt at the church. The church normally holds it outside in two parts but since it was raining they had it inside. They have different age groups split into different areas. We got to take our kids in first with their age and really let them go to town picking up eggs before they let the older ones in. This was really nice because then both of the boys got to pick up a descent amount of eggs themselves and not having to fight to get a few eggs. There is over 35,000 eggs that get picked up in a matter of mins, so it gets really crazy really fast.

After this egg hunt we went to lunch with my sister and 4 kids and then we headed to the mall to find Alijah’s Easter outfit. I had found Austin’s outfit already but I was having very hard time finding what I wanted in Alijah’s size. I love putting the boys in vest suits for holidays. The only issue I have with this is that for some reason you can never find anywhere vest suits for babies under 12 months. Alijah is still fitting into 6 months and some of them are still big so there was no way he was going to fit into 12 months without being swallowed up in it. So I finally found a cute outfit that I thought was springy and cute.

Saturday afternoon and evening we hung out at my mom’s house. All of the kids love playing together. My sister has 4 kids and her 3rd is 2 months older then Austin and her 4th is 4 months younger then Alijah so they really do have a great time playing together. My mom also had an Easter Egg hunt at her house. The kids got to pick up eggs and inside them had candy. Certain ones also had words in them and wrote out a sentence of He is Risen. Austin did really well getting all the eggs and putting them in his basket. He didn’t even have to help him to much or even tell him more then a few times to put the eggs int he basket until he was done and we would go through them.

The Easter Bunny came Saturday night. This year the bunny had double the work to do. She got right to it getting everything put together. Louie and I got up early and started getting ready so we could try and get to church early because we knew it would be completely packed. Austin started waking up so I told him through the monitor that he could come out. Louie and I waited for him to walk out where he was still all tired but he got a big smile on his face when he saw the baskets in the living room. He was excited that the Easter Bunny had come. After coming to give me a hug he went right to his basket and going through it. Austin loved his puzzle and the tunnel that he got. Alijah also loves the tunnel. He will go through it with any help or talking him into it. He just goes right in and laughs the whole time and loves coming out of the two ends.

After they both got to play with their baskets a but it was time to get ready for church. We of course left a little late and did not get to church early. There where no seats at all so we watched out in the front with the big screen tvs and couches. Which I have to say other then having to turn a lot to watch the screens the couches were much more comfy then the chairs in the sanctuary are.

After church we went to my mom’s house and took some cute pictures of all the kids. We then ate a big lunch and just visited with family before we ended out to go to the other grandparents. When we got to their house we walked in to a room full of eggs, books, and toys all over the floor. It took some convincing to get him to pick them up and see what all Alijah and him got. Once he picked it up he of course then wanted to play with it all.

As you can see another crazy busy but fun weekend. The boys did great all weekend and loved playing with all the family that was around. Thank you to both parents for all the great Easter stuff that you got the boys they love all of it.

Austin’s Toddler Bed

Since we were potty training we decided to just go ahead and move him to his toddler bed. The crib is a 4-1 so we just had to take the front off. It is completely open so there is no safety net on the front. I put a few pillow down to just make sure if he fell out he would roll on to pillows. He has done great. We told him he was not allowed to get out of bed and for the most party he has listened. He does get out most mornings and comes finds me (normally still in bed). At nap even he stays in until I go get him. Except for the one time he decided to get up and go wake up Alijah. We got in a little bit of trouble for that so hopefully that will be the only time. After about a week of Austin sleeping in the toddler bed and not falling out I thought we would be safe to take the pillows away. The night I take the pillows away Austin falls out of bed. I was downstairs and heard this loud crash. I thought Louie was up stairs jumping around. When I came up I asked Louie and he didn’t have a clue and said he didn’t do anything to make a loud noise. Before going to bed I check the monitor to make sure they are both ok in bed. As I looked at the monitor I noticed that there is no Austin in bed. I go in his room and there he is laying on the floor all curled up like he never woke up at all. Poor thing fell of the bed and never even woke up and just slept there on the floor until I moved him to his bed.

Today for nap I’m not sure what was going on but I all of a sudden heard a loud thud and him kind of whimper. I went in his room and he starts telling me he fell out of bed. It was almost comical and I did have a hard time trying not to laugh. I covered him back up and gave a few kissed and back to sleep he went. Other then these two times we have done super well with the toddler bed. I am pretty impressed that he hasn’t fallen out more often or tried to get out of bed all the time.

So my baby has gone from baby to big boy with in a weekend/weeks time frame. I can not believe how big Austin is getting and how fast it is happening. My babies are getting so big.
