My crazy but yet normal life with 2 boys.

Fisher Price Party

On the site House Party, they have several different parties that you can host. One of them was the Fisher Price Party. I was not chosen to host a party but I did know 2 friends that did get the party. So I was able to go to two party and Austin got to test out several different toys.

On Friday Austin got to test out 2 toys. The first one was the Laugh & Learn Stride-to-Ride Puppy. This is a really cute puppy that is really interactive. The seat is either sits down for riding or you put it up so that you can push behind it. It also has shapes on the side of the puppy. There were 3 different shape sorts that you could play with. Also the nose on the front when pushed would light up and the puppy would sing and tilt its head back and forth. It also had different buttons on the front of the dog that would change what it sang about. This toy is for 9-36 mo and my 22 mo old really enjoyed pushing and riding on it.

The next toy that Austin got to play with was the Laugh & Learn Apptivity Monkey. You first need to download that Fisher Price Monkey app and then you place your iPhone into the case that sits in the middle of the monkey. This app also works with the monkey’s hands and feet. Each limb had a different game on it. One is singing, another is letters, then numbers, and shapes. Austin has loved this one. My friend who was hosting does not have an iPhone so she gave this toy to Austin and he has not stopped playing with it. It is always asking me to put my phone in it to play with it. The only down fall to this toy is that it doesn’t turn off when not in use. So if you aren’t paying attention it can drain the battery when it isn’t being used but still on. This toy age group is 6-36 months and again Austin has loved this toy at 22 months!!

Today we got to go to another party with more toys. The first toy that Austin got to play with was the Servin’ Surprises Kitchen & Table. I think this table would be something really good for someone who doesn’t want to get the traditional big kitchen. It is similar in concept but very different. Austin really enjoyed playing with this table. It has several different cooking areas on it. There was a stove, grill, oven, and a turn table. All of these pieces also made sounds of cooking. The turn table when you set something on it it would sing about what was on there. There was many different pieces from plates, food, utensils and lots of extras. Austin really liked playing with the pizza they had. It was a small 4 slice pizza that on one side of the cheese had pepperoni and the other had tomato and mushrooms. There is also storage in the middle of the table which is an extra bonus. This toy is for 2 and up for the age group.

The next toy that Austin tried out was the Little Poeple Wheelies Loops ‘n Swoops Amusement Park. Austin played with this one for a little bit. The loop n swoop part is pretty cool. You place a Little People car at the top and then there is a button that you press down that lets the car go down a large straight down ramp to the loop. The car really flies through it and out the looped part. The other part of this toy the cars go down and around the loops. Austin wasn’t as intrigued by this though I think partly because we have one similar to this that he plays with all the time. This toy is for 1 1/2 up to 5 years.

There was a lot of fun play with these parties. This also forces me to start thinking what to get Austin for his birthday and Christmas. They are only 3 weeks apart so I really need to start planning on what to get him for each. That might be for a future post of a gift list.
