Pumpkin season is upon us!
Fall is here and pumpkin season is here. I have never been big on carving or doing much with pumpkins until We had Austin. Last year was the first year we carved pumpkins and went to pumpkin patches. There is a farm not to far from here that during the month of October turns into a pumpkin patch. They have lots of picture taking places with a wagon ride, corn maze, corn pit, and even sling shot pumpkin throwing.
When we took Austin last year he was just learning to walk and could take a few steps. This helped for taking some pictures around the pumpkins. I had also seen a few pictures of people cutting the pumpkin so that their child could sit in it and of course I just had to try it. I wasn’t sure if he would actually sit in it at the time since he did not like to get dirty or touch anything yucky. Both of which is what the inside of the pumpkin is.
I am also super excited to take Alijah and Austin to the pumpkin patch. I think it will be super cute to get pictures of the two of them around all the pumpkins. I also want to try and find 2 pumpkins that I an put Austin in one and Alijah in the other. This could get interesting or not happen at all if I can’t find a pumpkin big enough for Austin and one the right size to hold up Alijah since he isn’t sitting or anything. We will see what happens and what we get figured out. It might take us a few pumpkins to get it figured out.
He didn’t like it at all at first… but then we got a smile
